Alissa Fleming represents her healthcare clients as an attorney and a registered nurse. Whether defending against a malpractice action or dealing with HIPAA issue, Alissa Fleming understands their businesses.
Ms Fleming represents physicians, nurses, and other licensed professionals as well as hospitals, nursing homes, and drug and medical device makers on a variety of issues at the administrative, state and federal court levels. These issues include professional malpractice, products defect and healthcare law. She also handles matters involving contract disputes, employment law, and insurance defense.
Alissa attended the University of Virginia from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with distinction). She was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, as well as the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. Alissa has extensive nursing experience in critical care settings, including the intensive care unit, coronary care unit, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology.
Alissa attended the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., 2005). While in law school, she was an Honors recipient in Litigation Skills.
