John "Jay" Jones concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, professional liability, products liability, commercial litigation, construction litigation and appellate practice.
Born in Ohio and raised in Charlotte, N.C., Jones received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A.) and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law (cum laude), where he was president of the Honor Council, vice-president of the Moot Court Board, member of the Psychology, Public Policy and Law Journal, and chair of the Dean's Cup. He was also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Alpha Epsilon Lambda honor societies. Additionally, he was the recipient of the Thomas Ewald Memorial Scholarship Award, the highest award for excellence in Litigation Skills.
