Barbara J. Wagner, Ph.D. joins Barnwell Whaley as Associate

Charleston, S.C. – Barnwell Whaley Patterson and Helms is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Barbara Wagner as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Division of the firm. Dr. Wagner holds eighteen U.S. and numerous foreign patents, and is author of several scientific articles. Previously, she worked as a research chemist in the Charleston area, and as a chemistry instructor at the College of Charleston.

Dr. Wagner will focus her law practice in the areas of intellectual property, commercial litigation, personal injury, products liability, toxic torts, and employment law.

An Indiana native, Dr. Wagner received her education from Indiana University (B.S.), the University of California, Davis (Ph.D.) and graduated magna cum laude from the first graduating class of the Charleston School of Law, where she was a member of the Charleston Law Review and the Maritime Law Bulletin.
