He holds a Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent rating, (the highest, formerly referred to as AV), and has previously served as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law, teaching Legal Research, Analysis and Writing.

A consistent presenter at continuing education seminars for attorneys, Mr. Novak often addresses topics such as complex discovery, evidentiary matters, and troubleshooting legal issues.

When he is not in the office, courtroom, or classroom, you may find him traveling with his wife, son, and daughter, on the golf course, or enjoying the outdoors. He currently serves his community as a Member and Mayor Pro Tem of the Sullivan’s Island Town Council.
